Camden Yards MARC Station in Line for a $7.2M Overhaul

The Maryland Transit Administration and the Maryland Stadium Authority will partner on a $7.2 million overhaul of the MARC train station outside Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The MTA received a $6 million federal grant to renovate the station, which was meant to be a temporary structure when it was built nearly 30 years ago. Michael Helta, project development manager with MTA, said the state never had the funds until now to come back and build a permanent structure.
