BWI climbs in J.D. Power rankings of nation’s best airports

Recent investments in infrastructure and retail offerings at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport were made to better serve the customers, and according to a recent J.D. Power study, travelers think it is paying off.

The J.D. Power 2016 North America Airport Satisfaction Study released on Thursday ranks BWI at 15th in terms of consumer satisfaction for large airports. The ranking is up from No. 22 in the 2015 rankings.

Portland International Airport in Oregon topped the list for large airports while Washington Reagan National Airport came in at ninth and Washington Dulles Airport stayed at 20th for the second consecutive year.
