Hogan administration member leaves for private sector

A member of Gov. Larry Hogan’s administration has left for a private sector job.

The governor’s office announced Friday that Gail Bassette, secretary of the Department of General Services, had resigned to take a “senior executive” position.

Nelson Reichart, the department’s deputy secretary, will serving as acting secretary, the governor’s office said.
