Laurel Well Represented In Maryland Municipal League Elections At Summer Convention

Laurel City Councilmember Donna Crary has been elected to a sixth term on the Maryland Municipal League Board of Directors.

The election was held at the organization’s convention in Ocean City, Maryland on June 30, 2015.

Crary, elected as an at-large member, is one of 31 MML Board of Directors who govern the organization.

Lou Ann Crook, Executive Assistant to Laurel Mayor Craig A. Moe was elected President of the Maryland Municipal Clerks Association and appointed to the MML Board of Directors.

The  Board includes: president, first vice president, past president, 11 district vice presidents, 10 members at large, and 7 department representatives.  Board members are elected at the Maryland Municipal League’s annual business meeting in June and serve one-year terms. The Board meets six times during the year unless a special meeting is called.
