Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Monday afternoon he has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Hogan, a Republican, said at an impromptu news conference that the cancer is very advanced and very aggressive.
With his family by his side, Hogan said he would face the challenge with the same energy and determination he has relied on to climb every hill and overcome every obstacle he has faced in his life.
