Hogan meets to discuss bid for FBI headquarters

Gov. Larry Hogan hosted a meeting Monday with Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker III and members of the state’s congressional delegation to devise a strategy to lure the FBI headquarters to Maryland.

“We’re talking about making sure we have a united front,” Hogan (R) said. “We talked about some of the specifics of what each partner has to do to try to make sure we are able to win this bid.”

The meeting suggests that a decision on where the FBI will land — either in Maryland or Virginia — is not a done deal. Hogan said Maryland continues to be in “great shape.”
