Pr. George’s loses economic development leader Hoskins to Arlington County

Victor Hoskins is leaving Prince George’s County after seven months on the job as its economic development leader to fill the same position in nearby Arlington County.

Hoskins was appointed in late May by County Executive Rushern L. Baker III (D) to help attract international and regional investment for expanding the county’s commercial tax base and promoting growth.

Baker hired Hoskins away from the administration of D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Gray (D) and touted his hiring as a signal to the business community that Prince George’s was serious about economic development.
