With Hogan coming to town, another Annapolis lobbying shop touts a GOP hire

One of the top lobbying firms in Maryland on Thursday announced the hiring of John C. Reith, a longtime Republican strategist who served as finance director for former governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R) in all three of his campaigns.

The announcement by Rifkin, Weiner, Livingston, Levitan & Silver was the latest sign of how the Annapolis influence business is changing in anticipation of another Republican governor after eight years of Democratic control of both the administration and the legislature.
