Robert A. Kearbey Joins Whiteford Taylor & Preston LLP

August 15, 2014 – Bethesda.  Whiteford Taylor & Preston is pleased to announce that Robert Kearbey has joined the firm as Counsel in the Public Finance group.  He will be based in our Washington and Bethesda offices.

Rob comes to us from Ballard Spahr, where he represented clients in the structuring, issuance, offering, sale and restructuring of tax-exempt and taxable securities.  He serves as counsel to bond issuers, banks, borrowers, credit enhancers, underwriters and trustees in financing affordable and senior housing, public infrastructure, non-profit and university projects.

Rob received his law degree from the Washington University School of Law in 2002, and his BA from Drury University in 1999. Prior to moving to private practice in 2004, he served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri.  He is admitted to practice in DC, Maryland, North Carolina and Missouri.
